DCI 2007 Annual Conference Attracts Record Attendance
HUTCHINSON, Kan. - Data Center Inc. (DCI), a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry, hosted more than 350 client banks, staff, vendor partners and prospects September 16 through 18 in Kansas City, Mo. for the company`s largest and most successful annual user conference to date. The record-breaking attendance enjoyed an expansive program of activities, exhibitors, and 62 workshops, panel discussions and educational training sessions on current technology and industry issues.

The conference opened with keynote speaker, Jack Mackey, an expert on building customer loyalty. Celebrity Richard Kiel, the 7-foot, 2-inch actor best known for his role as "Jaws" in the James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, also spoke about his long career in film, his family and being an author.
Many DCI bankers were featured speakers for workshops addressing current topics such as merchant and remote capture, risk management, disaster planning, mergers and acquisitions, biometrics and the profitable use of iCore`s alternate GL and guidance line features.
"The DCI culture is one of community and collaboration to help all our bankers stay ahead and succeed," said John Jones, president and CEO of DCI. "The conference supports that culture with three days of face-to-face interaction between the bankers and DCI executives, technicians and partners."
Attendees were treated to demonstrations and training classes on the latest DCI solutions, including iCore, BSA compliance, Proof21 teller capture, enhanced profitability and online Inter@ct tools for statements and check fraud prevention, among others. Other workshops and panel discussions addressed industry trends such as current regulatory issues, high yield checking accounts, the transformation of check clearing, the power of document imaging, contingency planning and security and privacy issues.
In addition to the annual conference, DCI conducts several user group meetings during the year to collaborate with customers on new developments and innovations.

2007 WiMAX Forum Member Conference
WiChorus, an enabler of next generation wireless networks, announced today that its CEO, Rehan Jalil, will be speaking on a panel at the 2007 WiMAX Forum Member Conference in Madrid, Spain, on QoS in Mobile WiMAX networks. This session will examine end-to-end QoS requirements and how mobile WiMAX is addressing them. The panel is jointly sponsored by the Application Working Group and the Marketing Working Group and is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20, at 8:00 a.m.
WiChorus will present alongside other WiMAX Forum members including major network equipment vendors and service providers and will discuss the market drivers behind QoS in WiMAX as applied to VoIP, Video, and other real-time multimedia applications. In his keynote address, Rosen focused on the different advantages and disadvantages of VoIP from the eyes of their stakeholders, touching on the relevant challenges of service providers as well.
